 CLOSED!

Yes it has arrived - my health no longer allows me to continue running a store - my legs are gone. And no-one wanted to take it over as a going concern.

I'm still dealing, mostly selling what's still left over from the store - on ebay, on Gumtree, on marketplace, out of a cabinet in Hunted, Bayswater or in person. It's boxes full of 'stuff' and I am happy to deal in person. If you're in Melbourne or close enough, come over and grab bargains. I'm in the Dandenongs, near Belgrave.  Literally boxfuls of stuff. Film cameras, boxes full of lens adapters or lens caps and filters for a fraction of cost. Nothing fancy, the Leicas have been sold elsewhere! But lots of basic stuff.  If you are prepared to help out a bit, all assistance much appreciated and I'll happily trade your time for 'stuff''

I'm asking myself if I need a large personal collection - it won't fit in the box with me and my family has less than zero interest. So I will be selling some rare and weird stuff soon.

Equally I'm no longer buying stock in unless it's high end stuff I can sell it on later after a test and service and at a profit once I've moved completely online. So a Leica, OM-1 or a good Nikon, yes, but older cheap stuff, no matter how good, nope. Sorry. Equally I have a head full of knowledge so I will answer questions. And my books on the Kodak, SLR, TLR and Half Frame are still available print 0on demand from Blurb - search blurb/afildes

A customer comiserated with me the other day - said it was the end of an era, that I was a legend, he'd miss my advice and available bits. Well like all legends and epics and sagas and so on, it comes to an end and passes into history.

Ring the bells that still can ring,

 Forget your perfect offering,

There is a crack, a crack in everything.

That's how the light gets in.
